FOODTANK Organization is a registered Tanzanian non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to promoting sustainable livelihoods, climate resilience, environmental conservation, food security, renewable energy, and community empowerment across Tanzania. We work with communities in Geita, Mwanza, and Kagera regions.
We work in partnership with local communities, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to implement evidence-based programs that deliver measurable and lasting impact for the people we serve.
To promote sustainable livelihoods, environmental conservation, food security, renewable energy, clean water access, and gender equality for vulnerable and marginalized communities in Tanzania through participatory, evidence-based, and rights-based approaches.
A Tanzania where all communities — especially women and youth — have equitable access to sustainable resources, food security, clean energy, clean water, and equal rights to thrive with dignity and resilience.
We uphold the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all our work.
We place communities at the heart of everything we do, ensuring their voice drives our programs.
We design programs that create lasting change and can be sustained by communities long after our support ends.
We champion equity and inclusion, actively engaging women, youth, and marginalized groups.
We embrace creative solutions and evidence-based approaches to address complex development challenges.

We invite you to join us in this mission — together, we can build a Tanzania where no community is left behind."
