PROGRAM 01
Climate-Smart Agriculture and food systems

Promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices that enhance food production, strengthen food security, improve farmers' livelihood...

<ul><li><strong>3,000+ smallholder farmers</strong> trained in climate-smart agriculture and sustainable farming practices.</li><li><strong>12 farmer groups</strong> established and strengthened to promote collective production, learning, and market access.</li><li><strong>20 demonstration farms</strong> established, reaching <strong>1,600 farmers</strong> with practical learning and technology adoption.</li><li><strong>45% average increase in crop yields</strong> among participating farmers.</li><li><strong>Household food production tripled</strong>, increasing from an average of <strong>5 to 15 bags</strong> per season.</li><li><strong>Improved household food security</strong>, contributing to reduced school dropout rates among children.</li><li><strong>Enhanced household incomes and community well-being</strong>, helping reduce economic stress and lowering the risk of <strong>gender-based violence (GBV)</strong>.</li></ul>

Community Health, WASH and Nutrition

To improve the health and well-being of rural communities through access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, and mental well-being.

<ul><li><strong>15 clean water points</strong> established to improve access to safe and reliable water for communities.</li><li><strong>30+ gender-sensitive latrines</strong> constructed, improving sanitation and hygiene conditions.</li><li><strong>30 households</strong> supported with improved sanitation facilities and solar-powered systems.</li><li><strong>36 school toilets</strong> upgraded, with <strong>25 schools supported with solar water systems</strong>.</li><li><strong>25 school sanitary pad exchange rooms</strong> established to promote menstrual hygiene and girls’ school retention.</li><li><strong>1,200+ children</strong> reached with nutrition support, education, and improved health practices.</li></ul>
